How Can abdominal Pain Along With Blood In Stool Be Treated?

I have been going to the doctor for severe abdominal pain for the last 6 months. This morning it looked like I had blood in my stool, however I ate beets last night, although not many, less than half of one. The color was more of a dark red than a pink or purple. So my question is; could this still be from beets or should I go to the doctor?

Hi, I think you should go for evaluation by a surgeon. It can be due to anal fissure or piles. Get yourself examined by a surgeon to confirm the diagnosis.
